FROM OLD SITE - As a parent, you want the very best for your child. One of the best ways to support your child is to let us help support you! We provide parent coaching programs to teach you the strategies that SLPs frequently use during therapy. This empowers you to integrate strategies within the routines that you are already doing on a daily basis, which then leads to long-term results for both you and your child.

It Takes Two to Talk®

It Takes Two to Talk® is an evidence-based parent training program from the Hanaen Centre, designed to give you practical tools to support your child's language development.

Sessions are led by a certified speech-language pathologist trained in the Hanen approach.

Pre-Program Consultation: You'll get an introduction to the program, share background about your child, and leave with a personalized treatment plan and specific communication goals.

Parent Training Sessions: Eight virtual sessions held in a small-group setting over several weeks. Each session is interactive and built around your child's current communication stage, with practical strategies and individualized support.

Individual Visits: Three private sessions with you, your child, and your speech-language pathologist. These video feedback visits let you apply strategies in real time and get in-the-moment guidance.

tips for tiny talkers

Tips for Tiny Talkers is a 1:1 parent training program for parents of 5-year-olds that provides practical strategies to support language development during everyday routines.

Session One: Consult (30 mins): Discuss your concerns and provide background information about your child's development. This session will help you understand what to expect with your child's communication development and address any concerns you may have.

Session Two: Introduction (30 mins): This session will provide you with tools and techniques to encourage language development through everyday activities and routines such as mealtime, playtime, and storytime.

Session Three: Follow-Up (30 mins): This session is to share additional support tools, address concerns, answer questions, review progress, and make any necessary adjustments to the strategies.

Do you ever get overwhelmed with the amount of toys cluttering your house and the constant pressure to buy more in order to help your child develop appropriately? Yup, me too!

When I discovered Learn With Less®, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of to benefit the families I work with.

The idea is that you can support your infant or toddler’s development using what you already have.

These classes are fun and interactive for you and your child. I have specialized training in the 4 Pillar Framework (play, talk, sing, move), which addresses 4 areas of development (cognitive, communicative, motor, and social/emotional).

You’ll leave these classes with community support from like-minded parents and practical strategies to take home.
